Final Blog Post

I don't think I am going to breath this week until all of my unit 9 assignments are done, submitted and graded.  I feel like I have been holding my breath for weeks, so I think my week off I am going to swim myself sane, that is what I do when I am really stressed and have not had time this term.  With the end of the year at work, and my homework load had overwhelmed me which is new for me, I am not usually overwhelmed.  Good Luck to all and keep plugging away graduation is the finish line.

Term Winding Down

I think the next 3 weeks of class are going to be a little overwhelming for me.  I was ahead of the game and my laptop blew up and had to buy a new one this week.  Per the over priced geek squad my hard drive is toast and nothing is recoverable.  So final paper in A&P I has to be redone, Final project for Automation has to be redone, and thank god I submitted my paper to the writing center, so at least I will not have to re write that one.  Let me tell you I now have my laptop backed up off site at carbonite.  Life Lessons

Many Blessing

Since this is Thanksgiving week I thought I would talk about the things that I am Thankful for this year.  I am thankful and blessed to still have my dad with me since we almost lost him in July, I am thankful and blessed that my parents have moved from Tennessee to Texas to live with me.  I am very thankful and blessed that everyone for today is happy, healthy and all together.  I am thankful that my sister flew in from Minnesota to be with all of this year and to provide me with much needed down time.  So many blessing this year and things to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving all and many blessing to all of you and your families.

One day at a time

I think I will be really glad to get past this 10 weeks and past the holidays. I am not feeling very festive this year, maybe it just because they start earlier and earlier ever year.  It like someone in your ear always telling you that you are behind and better hurry cause every body else is already out there.

See y'all in class

Life and Other Suff

So I my house I have my 80 year old parents, my 33 year old daughter and her 2 children 15, and 13, and this is the week the the ages chose to clash.  It has made it a fun week and I found out that I do not like being monkey in the middle.

To much homework and work, work this week to work on my hobbies or to read, so it has been a little stressful and looking at this weeks assignments I do not see it getting better.

Have a great week all

What a week

I found a cousin this week through my family research and she is the daughter of my mothers brother who died young.  This week my mom was able to talk to her after 41 years, i did not think they would ever stop talking or crying.  This is why I love my hobby and the connections you can make.  My mom is one of 9 and 4 are still living, I have found so many cousins that I had not seen since childhood, or had never met.  I was glad that I had time this week to chill and play with my data, and there she was looking for family and I was able to provide her with pictures of her dad that she had never seen.  All and all a good week.
